Technology for Nonprofits

VZT Tech Consulting prices nonprofit work separately, starting at $1,750 — a custom site with donations, registration, waivers, and payments built in rather than bolted on. We have shipped a program platform for a 501(c)(3) youth football organization and an event platform for a charity tournament supporting families fighting Congenital Heart Disease, and we set up the free nonprofit tech stack most organizations never hear about.

A Site That Actually Takes Donations

Most nonprofit sites explain the mission and then make giving hard. We build the donation path first — one-time and recurring, on mobile, with the receipt and thank-you email already written — and design the rest of the site around it.

  • One-time & recurring giving
  • Mobile-first donation flow
  • Receipts & thank-you email
  • Events, news & program pages

Registration, Waivers & Payments

Camps, tournaments, tryouts, and fundraisers all need the same machinery: sign people up, collect a signature, take the money, and let staff see who is coming. We have built this for youth sports programs and a charity tournament, including comp codes and payment recovery when a checkout gets stuck.

  • Registration & intake
  • Digital waivers & ID upload
  • Online payments & comp codes
  • Rosters, capacity & admin views

The Free Nonprofit Stack, Set Up For You

Google offers eligible 501(c)(3) organizations Google Workspace for Nonprofits and Ad Grants — $10,000 a month in search-ad credit — and donation platforms like Zeffy and Givebutter charge no platform fee. We build your site to meet the Ad Grants requirements and walk you through the applications. Approval is Google's decision, not ours.

  • Google for Nonprofits setup
  • Ad Grants eligibility & tracking
  • Zero-fee donation processing
  • TechSoup discount guidance

Impact Dashboards & Grant Reporting

The part nonprofit website platforms do not sell. We already build business-intelligence dashboards and automated reporting for commercial clients; pointed at your program, donor, and registration data, the same reporting layer answers the questions a funder asks at renewal.

  • Program & donor dashboards
  • Automated recurring reports
  • Data pulled from your real systems
  • Board-ready exports

The Mission Packages

Separate pricing, not a discount code. These are real starting points, and we phase larger work so each stage fits inside a budget cycle rather than a board RFP.

Add-On

Google Ad Grants management — from $350/mo

Ad Grants is $10,000 a month in Google search-ad credit, and it is not set-and-forget: Google can pause an account that drops below the program's click-through-rate floor, runs single-word or overly generic keywords, or loses conversion tracking. We run the account against those rules every month.

  • Campaign & ad-group structure
  • Keyword research & negatives
  • Conversion tracking & goals
  • Program compliance monitoring
  • Landing-page recommendations
  • Monthly report you can show a board

Who this pricing is for

Registered 501(c)(3) organizations, public schools, booster clubs, and youth sports organizations. We confirm 501(c)(3) status through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search, and schools or booster clubs through an EIN or W-9. Nonprofit pricing does not stack with our 15% military discount — it is already the deeper of the two.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who qualifies for nonprofit pricing?

Registered 501(c)(3) organizations, public schools, booster clubs, and youth sports organizations. We verify 501(c)(3) status through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search, and schools or booster clubs through an EIN or W-9. If you are fiscally sponsored or mid-application, tell us in your inquiry and we will look at it.

How much does a nonprofit website cost?

Mission Site starts at $1,750 and Mission Ops — registration, waivers, and payments — starts at $3,750. Ongoing care starts at $125/mo. Those are starting points, not caps: you get a written fixed-price scope within one business day of sending us the details.

Does nonprofit pricing stack with the 15% military discount?

No. Nonprofit pricing is already the deeper of the two, so we apply it instead rather than combining them. If you are a veteran-led nonprofit, you get the nonprofit rate.

What if our project is bigger than these packages?

We quote it to scope at the nonprofit rate, and we phase it. Splitting a large build into stages means each stage can be approved inside a normal budget cycle instead of waiting on a board RFP, and it lets you fund later phases from a grant that has not landed yet.

What does Google Ad Grants setup include?

Ad Grants offers eligible 501(c)(3) organizations $10,000 a month in Google search-ad credit. We build the site so it meets the program's requirements — secure hosting, a mission page that clearly explains the work, and conversion tracking — and walk you through the Google for Nonprofits application. Approval is Google's decision. Running the campaigns month to month is a separate add-on at $350/mo — structure, keywords, conversion tracking, and keeping the account inside Google's program rules so it does not get paused.

Do we own the site, or are we renting it from you?

You own it. The code is yours, it deploys to your own hosting account, and we hand over documentation at launch. Mission Care is a support plan you can stop — it is not the thing keeping your site online.

Have you worked with nonprofits outside of sports?

Our shipped nonprofit work is in youth sports and community events, plus a charity tournament platform for the WONheart Foundation. The underlying pieces — donations, registration, waivers, payments, volunteer and sponsor management, reporting — are the same regardless of cause, and we will tell you honestly on the call if your project needs something we have not built before.
